Judy Sheindlin has put her eight-figure Pelican Bay penthouse on the market. The 16th floor suite, complete with wraparound windows, two private elevators, a pool deck and space for guests and nannies, is available for $11 million.
The TV Star serves as a no-nonsense arbitrator, who has settled small-claim disputes on her show for 20 years, will be moving with her husband down the street. According to county records the couple bought a 10,000 square foot mansion for $8.9 million in November.
The Sheindlins bought the beachfront penthouse, a condo at the Windsor at Bay Colony, for $6.9 million in 2005. It overlooks Vanderbilt Beach with 8,550 square feet of space it features a library, office and sauna to go along with four bedrooms and six bathrooms.
The area, just south of the Ritz-Carlton, is no stranger to high-end luxury residences or multimillion dollar sales.
Sheindlin, was a judge in the Manhattan family court system before the TV show took her to the national spotlight. The couples new home is also in Pelican Bay on Colony Drive, less than a mile from the penthouse. The sprawling home with 6 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms overlooks a man-made lake.
